It appears the Veteran’s Administration is finally answering the call to add additional conditions to the list of presumptive diseases associated with Agent Orange and service in Vietnam.
On November 1, 2017, the current head of the Veterans Administration – Dr. David J. Shulkin – has decided to move forward, at the behest of the National Academy of Medicine, with reviewing additional conditions to add to the current presumptive list.
Ailments under review for inclusion on the list include: (1) Bladder Cancer; (2) Hypothyroidism; and (3) Parkinson-like syndrome/symptoms without a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease.
